Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest rewards and release date revealed

Borderlands 3 is not a modern, Destiny-style games-as-service title, but rather a more traditional single-player and co-op title. Even so, it’s starting to look a whole lot more like a modern, Destiny-style games as service title. Case in point: the first major content drop for this game is the sort of thing we see in games-as-service all the time: it’s a Halloween event, complete with spooky enemies, cosmetics and other aesthetic changes. It’s called Bloody Harvest, and while we’ve known about it for a little bit, we just got full details and a release date.

The Halloween-themed event Bloody Harvest went live Thursday, Oct. 24. This is the first content update for Borderlands 3 and will include new gear and cosmetics along with a spooky area called Heck. Players will have to complete a quest before they're allowed into the new zone, where they'll fight against waves of monsters before they face off against the boss, Captain Haunt. Along with the content update, Gearbox also made several changes to the game according to the patch notes Thursday. By the way, you can buy cheap Borderlands 3 Money from 5mmo.com, where you can enjoy a 3% discount by using the code “5MMO”.

"Your enemies in Heck have a chance to drop gear that will only be available during Bloody Harvest, including Fearmonger, a new Legendary shotgun that packs a supernatural punch," Gearbox explained in an accompanying blog post. "You might also find Anointed weapons that play off the new Terror mechanic introduced in Bloody Harvest. Haunted enemies can inflict the Terror debuff, which will affect your aim and partially cloud your vision - but with these new Anointed effects, you can turn Terror into a beneficial boost of power."

There are new enemies down there, as well as a farmable boss named “Captain Haunt”, a ghost pirate that does look genuinely cool. The area comes with a special “terror” debuff that will make it harder to aim, but a blog post alludes to the fact that new items will allow you to turn terror into a weapon with new perks. You’ll be able to earn a variety of seasonal cosmetics down there, and it seems like we’ve got a fairly straightforward path to them rather than random drops: it revolves around challenges that will award things like a weapon trinket, an echo skin and character skins. Moreover, 5mmo.com provides Cheap BL3 Weapons for players. As an online in-game currency store for many years, we’ve received great reputation for our reliable service.
